Little story....

Béziers old capital of the wine, saw appearing in 1947 its cooperative winery association wich collects raises and improves its various wines of name, botlles in its wines storehouse and market in its vault

From the two cooperative winery Béziers-Boujan are joined together to become:
Les caves de Béziers

While joining together 194 wine growers, a potencial of 40000hl, extending on a surface from 624 hectares, it is on these two communes, or according to the nature of the grounds. The wine growers has to adapt, with each soil grape variety how gose with it, as : le Merlot, le Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah... For red wines and rosé. Sauvignon,Chardonnay and Viognier, Muscat, Grenache blanc… for the white wines.

To give again at the town of Béziers its place of Capital of the wine, since two years new direction of the cellar of Béziers- Boujan has endearvoured to work and vinify with passion. We seek to give again hope with our co-operator by improving quality of our wines. And as well as possible to optimize our bottles which are with the day of today our public image and the calling card of our members.
Our principal will is to defend the interests of our co-operators.
Even if around we do not achieve ourselves the unanimity in the wine medium on our way of advancing.
At Béziers we don’t speack any more of quantity but of quality.
Which new medals in 2006 which one of gold to the Chardonnay of the world and world of rosé.
